Support

Meet our club’s wonderful supporters

Conjola Stingrays OCC is proud to be supported by these generous organisations.

Bannisters is our most recent sponsor, believing in us and supporting us as we expand our membership and represent Conjola.

Through its bushfire recovery grants, Vinnies has been a wonderful supporter of our club and the bushfire-impacted community of Conjola.

Bendigo Bank is a business committed to supporting regional communities, and we’re proud to have them as one of our club’s sponsors.

How we raise funds

Our club raises funds in the following ways:

  • Members’ club fees
  • Donations from individuals and businesses
  • Grant applications
  • Sponsorships
  • Events, Bunnings BBQ sausage sizzles, paid volunteering, and raffles.

Small regional clubs need your support

Small clubs, particularly those based in regional and rural areas, are under pressure. An Australian Sports Foundation report suggests that 1 in 4 have considered closing. You can help small clubs, like ours, to keep going by registering as a member or making a donation or becoming a sponsor.

Our 2024/25 targets

Small community clubs are under pressure. A recently released Australian Sports Foundation report titled Clubs Under Pressure points out 1 in 4 have considered closing. It’s a worrying trend, and small regional clubs, like ours, are particularly vulnerable.

Conjola Stingrays OCC is raising funds, over the next financial year, for a new racing canoe and trailer to attend regattas.
